Fongo connection failed -- every time

Hello, I cannot use the application. Every single time I try it just says "fongo connection failed, click to retry". I click. No luck. I restart my phone. No luck. I log out and in of the app. No luck. Every time I just get that message.

I know that it is not my connection because other VOIP apps on my phone are working perfectly. I have CSIPSIMPLE and the Vonage mobile apps, and they do not experience any problem. I am also able to browse facebook, etc., so there is definitely something going on with this app. A brief look at the comments on Google playstore reveals a very large number of users having the exact same problem.

So, what gives? Bad update to the app? Wait for a refresh? Is there a work-around?

Are you sure that you have used the correct login info?
Username ....is the email address use used

Although the application may show the wifi or 3g selected, you will still need to connect before launching the application. Keep in mind the application may continue to run in the background so please ensure it is completely closed, connect to the wifi or 3g, and relaunch the application.

If the issue persists, this may be an issue with your signal strength on wifi or reception on 3g. If you are on wifi, please test this by moving the device as close to the wireless router or hub as possible to see if you can make the call. If you are on 3g, try to get in an area with good reception and test the call.

You will also want to make sure that your cell phone provider or internet providers modem/router does not block forwarding ports 5060 UDP, 5061UDP, 6060 UDP, 6061 UDP, 13000 UDP or 13001 UDP. To verify this, you will need to contact your provider or your router.

If these suggestions do not allow you to place a call, you could try removing the application from the phone entirely and reinstalling with the latest build.

If the issue still persists, please provide us the make/model of your phone as well as the OS, the Internet Service Provider that is broadcasting the Wifif connection, and the type of wireless router that is being used. We have tested the software on many platforms however you may have a unique setup which will help us build the product ongoing. Any further information you can send would be appreciated.

I am in Toronto Canada with Rogers AT&T, my device is Samsung Galaxy Note N7000. I have been trying for many days since I sign up with Dell voice.
