FPL - will they delete my number without usage?

Hi everyone

I'm looking to port my rogers home phone over to FPL.

If i buy the VoIP Unlock Key - $50
Port my number for -$25

And i dont use that number for the next couple years. Will they ever delete my account + number?

The reason why I am looking to do this is because I will be traveling and do not need a home phone/VOIP but I want to keep my existing number with minimal costs.

Any feedback would be great. Thanks in advance

If you purchase porting and/or VoIP unlock key then you are at no risk of ever loosing the number if you do not use it.
