"Pilot" #s

For those that are not sure what a pilot # is, it is generally an UNASSIGNED phone number that is displayed/used by various stages of call completion ...

As I had part of the day off work today, I played around a little bit with a blocked landline #, Follow-Me, and my caller-ID work cell ... (I suppose I managed to generate some above-normal termination revenue for Fongo too...).

Calling from Metro Vancouver with a blocked Telus-landline, into a Follow-Me'd FPL Vancouver-based #, which forwards to my (Vancouver) work cell lead to the following results ....

RESTRICTED (2/13) very infrequent
604-295-1574 (5/13)
604-395-8089 (4/13)
778-329-7238 (2/13)

All of the above numbers are BELL-WEST (landline) #'s, respectively Richmond BC, New West BC, Vancouver BC

Calls to these #s just ring and ring and ring ...

Here are a few more #s that seem to pop up ... again, based on forwarding to a Vancouver-area #...

604-755-3399 (actually Abbotsford, BC but still Bell West)
604-678-5888 (Vancouver - Bell West)
778-328-6480 (Vancouver - Bell West)

Steve or another Fongo rep -- any idea why these #s wold come thru in the Caller ID field when a blocked/restricted number dials a Fongo-number and is then Follow-Me'd?? Shouldn't "restricted" be popped up? Curious....
