My problem is - 70% incoming calls (when I call from work to home Fongo number) does not get to the Fongo phone. Interesting - all telemarketers are still able to call my home Fongo home.
What is it may be?
I would understand - if every single incoming call failed. But it is not every, it is exactly when I need to call home urgently.
After my wife call my work phone from Fongo phone - then I can call her to Fongo phone and it works.
I got a phone adapter from Fongo, so I did not change anything in configuration.

How this can be fixed?

Re: Sometimes Incoming call does not go through
Usually, incoming audio issues are router related. You need a clear incoming RTP port route to your ATA, and your router is having problems finding where to send the RTP port to, because it forgot where the ATA is. So the call goes nowhere.
The best solution is to manually forward RTP port(s) to your ATA from your router. i forget what the default RTP port for your HT286 ATA is, I believe 5004.

If you have the HT286 running STUN might be all you need to do. You can try most any STUN server but I normally use stun.callwithus.com or stun.ekiga.net
It may not solve the problem but is quick and cost nothing to try.

Re: Sometimes Incoming call does not go through
Thank you very much!
Yes, the port is 5004. I will check router. But router DHCP set to unlimited leasing period, so ATA has practically static internal IP address. So if router found it once, then it should stay forever I guess. But I will check it anyway.
And I will try STUN server as well.
I think this is because of IP changing on router on external part (that exposed to Internet). And I need to set on ATA the period for IP test/assignement for a smaller period.
I have a friend who has same Fongo phone and he use it at home and at work (literally brings the ATA+phone back and forth). And he has similar problem - after he came to work, then until he makes a single outcoming call - nobody able to call him.
So probably after my Inet provider changed my extarnal IP - then until ATA reregister itself on server there is "no incoming calls".
