Fongo,Freephonline,Clearpointel "website coder" ???

Post by Funkytown »

I will make this very simple and hopefully the Fongo Team = Fongo = Freephonline = Clearpointel, coder's of all sites will take down my information in the most welcoming way. ;)

The front end of all websites Fongo = Freephonline = Clearpointel are perfect but once users click here to come to forum.fongo.com they are automatically stuck until customers click on the red X in there browsers to get away. They then have to restart by opening up a browser to start all over to get back to the main front end of the FONGO website, believe me this is disappointing for potential customers and existing ones as this drives away $$$$ of traffic and yes there is an easy way to fix all of this so that users can head right back to the front end of the Fongo website.

Don't worry at the very bottom of the forum there is a link back to main index of the forum by clicking on Board index.
Example:
board index.png
Now the LOGO inside the forum we are still stuck back at the main index of this forum and NOT the front end of the website :(

I have a simple fix for this ... just look below

Code: Select all

go into your forum themes/templates inside the phphbb admin panel where the link to the logo where the link and code is usually in the header template just change the code with this content i provided and try it

<a href="http://www.freephoneline.ca/">http://www.freephoneline.ca/phpbb/logo.png</a>

I think that looks to be right? Yes I know that your url is http://forum.fongo.com/ but my method brings us back to the begining where we once came from. :D
Now that since this forum is used by other affiliate VOIP websites 3rd party customers of yours. I suggest you to add a forum icon also on both websites redirecting all customers here for any type of community help?
http://www.fongo.com ( needs a forum icon )
http://www.clearpointel.ca ( needs a forum icon )

Now what you need to do is add some type of cookie&key so that when they the 3rd party customers click back on the top logo they are automatically redirected back to the front end of the website they originally came from!

Hope this helps and thank you for your time.

Cheers!

Thanks for the suggestion! I'll certainly pass it up the ladder.

Just to clarify one thing though, 295.ca is owned by Fibernetics which is a separate company from Fongo and the related Fongo powered brands.
