Account number does not exist - remote voicemail access

When I call any of the remote voicemail numbers listed (I tried several) I get a message that my account number does not exist. I used my 7 digit number with a 1 in front.

I searched the forums and found nothing. My keypad is not working so I can't check my voicemail from there.

You mentioned 7 digits with a 1 on front, did you mean 10 digit with the initial 1 (11 in total) which is what you should be entering.

that is correct, you need to use a 11d number in order to access your vm.

Seeing as how this comes up again and again, can we make sure that the FAQ is very clear about this? I have looked at it, and it is very vague in this entire matter.
