Hi,
I plan on getting an old iPhone and want to use it with Fongo. I have some questions though.
1) Will Fongo work with older iPhones?
2) I live in BC north of the border. What is the best and most affordable deal? I always stay under 200 minutes per month and other than Fongo will use data for things like Twitter or email.
3) Will data be used even when I'm not talking using Fongo? Doesn't data have to be used so the app can receive calls and ring?
Thanks!

1 - http://support.dellvoice.ca/articles/FA ... earch&pn=1 It needs to be running iOS4 or higher.abmanial wrote:Hi,

2 - sorry, don't know.
3 - Voice used to take 1mb of data per minute, but I believe that has been cut down to much less now. Text messaging uses hardly any data (http://support.dellvoice.ca/articles/FA ... earch&pn=1)
Ringing and notifications can be pushed, so the app does not need to be running and connected to the server in order to work properly. Even if it was I don't imagine there would be much data transmitted when not actually on a call.
If you are connected through WIFI, then it won't use your data plan obviously.

Voice usage was cut down to roughly half a meg/minute in the update that launched in SeptemberJake wrote: 3 - Voice used to take 1mb of data per minute, but I believe that has been cut down to much less now.
