Cannot get a number assigned

Good evening,

when I login, I am prompted to accept my new number (with up to 4 retries) .. I click YES on the first number, and am presented instead with this screen:

(with the helpful message: An error occurred while processing request.)

I have tried this on Firefox, IE 9, and Chrome, all with the same result.

HELP?

Interesting error. Clear cache, reboot, retry. I just created a throw-away account (and then deleted it) and the system appears to be working correctly!

PM me if this does not resolve your issue, as you appear to be local to me and I can likely help you set up an account and a working number.

tried remote desktop to my workstation at work and ran it from there within IE 9 and firefox .. same error . must be something with my account,

Odd issues ... while it is technically a violation of the terms of service, I just verified another account just to ensure that the account generation process works ...

If you had managed to get thru to the "pick a number" part of the process, then you are past most of the hangups. One that would happen under the old FPL system is that if you were on WIFI or anything else that shared IP addresses is that the system would "error out" with too many number requests from a single IP address -- this was particularly problematic when I was using a 3G data stick, as my provider used common IP address blocks for an entire city, which made it very hard to set up my initial account. However, you are past this hurdle already ... strange!
