Follow Me Settings
I am having an issue with my Follow Me Numbers. I have had my cell phone number there for the longest time and have taken it on and off in the past. Now when I'm trying to put it back on, it says that my number is being used as a follow me number for another free phone line. I do not have another free phone line, nor did I tell anyone to put it on theirs, etc. I'm not sure which number is using my cell phone as a follow me number, but I want it off!! I need to put my cell phone number back on my account so I can recieve calls again! It is very frustrating.... please help.

Hi rolprin,
i know we spoke, but just wanted to follow up in this thread to say it will now work again. Number appears to have been put in (likely a typo) in another account.

Mike: From being an active forum participant, and having seen this problem time and time again, maybe we need to get a "report issue" button added to the Follow Me interface ... as the support has moved off the phone and on to the forum, adding a "REPORT" to the web interface on the FM page may save time/effort ... in my world, the REPORT ISSUE button would pre-fill a contact form with the info from the account, allow the user to select the # they think is blocked/in use etc, and then have a pulldown for type of report, and a comment area box.
Reports such as that would then appear as emails etc, which could be set up to forward wherever so that even lower-level techs could troubleshoot the issues leaving yourself and Steve to deal with more complex issues for us!

Through FPL there is an option to create a report already.

As to pre-filling it, that is another story......when using the email address linked to the number, it auto fills your information on our side, so it is mainly looking for just your FPL number and email address. We can then get sent the rest of the information linked to the account automatically.

Trouble reports
I meant a "report a problem" link from INSIDE the account management module of being logged into your account on the web, in this case, right in the FM module screen.FONGO_mike wrote: Through FPL there is an option to create a report already.

BTW Mike: the reply time for an email sent via the contactus interface is VERY delayed, 72h on average. Forums (except weekends!) are much faster.
And if Fongo is shifting more and more to online support versus live, then having a good and accurate report system is key ... ensure that problems get routed correctly to the person(s) that can best deal with it.
