Iphone all shows missed call in notification but not in app

Post by Zank »

Hey guys i am using the latest fongo version but tbis issue used to happen with the old app as well. Every morning i will have a few missed calls showing on lock screen, but when i go into the app they dont show up in history. This is very anmoying and has been happening for months. Wasnt a big deal since i wasnt using it a lot then. But now ibe ported my number over and travel a lot so very annoying to not know who called.

Any solutiom?

We have that also and what I put it down to was the notification on the lock screen are push notifications sent via the apple servers (I assume that is how they get to us), but if the phone is not logged in, then no missed calls will show on the app.

My wife was getting this a lot when she was over in New Zealand earlier this year. Because she only connected via WIFI she would get pushed notifications of missed messages or calls, but if the WIFI would not let her log into Fongo, or the connection just failed, she wouldn't actually get the messages then. Later when she is able to log into Fongo then the messages would come in.

So I think because the way we get push notifications is a bit more reliable in the way they actually getting to the phone, we get those but not always told by the app; espically if the app has not been logged into Fongo.
