Hello,

I would like to start by stating that this app is really great, and has saved me a lot of money on daily calls.

Since the latest Android update, calls are no longer being received. I can make calls without any concerns, but when attempting to call my Fongo number, from my home number (which are both normalized to the same city, as per my account setup details) it goes straight to a recorded message saying "the person you're trying to reach is unavailable at the moment, please leave a message".

I have tried clearing the data/cache and even gone as far as to remove the app and reinstall it. None of my efforts have proven successful, which leaves me wondering if there is an issue on your end.

Any help would be greatly appreciated; this app was able to receive calls before the latest update.

Edit: This behavior is the same on both WiFi and 3g. As soon as my home phone (or even cell phone dialer) has finished dialing my Fongo number, I get a notification from Fongo that there was a call missed, and the call is immediately forwarded to my Fongo vmail.

There is a problem with their service, I have the same issue, its not the update, its the service. Was working flawlessly till 1am yesterday eastern time. The issues with fongo is not progressing. Read my post here:

I figured it was update related, as I had done the update yesterday.

Well I have problems with my Android also since the last update. I get the same symptoms that you have, but I can see that my app keeps logging out. The apps we have on iOS devices are fine, it's just the latest Android app.

I don't use it, only for testing, so I just ignore it. But I will say check the little icon to see if the app is still logged in or not when you get the problems.

This is to fix calling features ? Where is the VM and Follow Me settings, I dont see the Follow Me settings in the Fongo app. How do we resolve this call issue. Whoever calls me from any phone I get the message saying, the person you are trying to reach is unavailable..... I tried from alot of cell phones and home phones. When I call out to people, it rings to people who dont use fongo numbers. But if I call someone who also has a fongo number I get that message again saying...... the person your trying to reach is unavailable..... Can you please fix this issue, I cant make or take calls, please... Or tell us how to resolve it. My number is still in your PM box.

Yes that when the problem happened yesterday night. So ya , I dont know why im getting that stupid message saying the person your trying to reach is unavailable ;(

UPDATE;

I just tested it now 11:35am eastern time, its working again. I hope it stays like this now.

I got to this reply a little late (7:30pm EST), but I can also verify it's working properly again, through no intervention of my own, the app was logged in all day.

I did notice the app logging back in "sometimes" but that could also be related to occasional issues on the remote end. I haven't noticed this since doing the update, however.
