Hi,
I have two major problems. Both are intermittent (i.e. occurs occasionally, not always).
1) Incoming calls goes directly to FPL voicemail without phone ringing.
This has been occuring since months (since I got FPL). And *everytime* this occurs, the corresponding phone log on FPL website shows disconnect reason of caller being "Internetworking, unspecified"
2) Incoming caller cannot be heard.
They can hear me, but I can't hear them. This has been occuring since reason FPL server problems (around Christmas time).
I use linksys PAP2T, configured using recommended settings, and ports forwarded in router.
Any clues?

Re: Incoming calls: 2 intermittent problems
This is a common problem with some ATA/router/configuration combinations and is almost certainly at the user end rather than the FPL end. What router are you using and did you give the ATA a fixed IP and forward the required ports to the ATA and set the ATA to use them? Meanwhile you can try running STUN with a suitable server as well as NAT keep alive and NAT Mapping.

Re: Incoming calls: 2 intermittent problems
Please check the mode of your modem (Routed vs Bridged), because when in Routed mode, it will act as a router and conflicts the settings (like port forwarding) you do in your actual router. I had the same problems with my phone as well after December 19 (before that, it had been working fine). So, I changed my router to Bridged Mode (as it was indeed in Routed Mode), and changed my Router to handle the PPPoE connection. After I had saved these settings, all went well right away. Good Luck!

Re: Incoming calls: 2 intermittent problems
I made some more changes to see if things get better. And about 3 days later I noticed 2 incoming calls had same problem today with "Internetworking, unspecified" in call log.
I've NAT enabled/alive.
I use SMC router/modem combo which is connected to Linksys wireless router via ethernet. However, the ATA is directly connected to the SMC router. In SMC, I've port forwarded 5060-5061 and 16384-16482 to PAP2T. (The conflict you described is unlikely to affect here since the Linksys router is separate and not connected to ATA and port forwarding is done in SMC itself, to which ATA is connected). Also, I used to have Cisco router before instead of SMC and still got the same problems
In general, I get this issue about once a week (but can occur for 3-4 times that given day). Also on Jan 1st I had errors showing "Switching equipment congestion," something that I don't think I got before.
PS: The other problem of not being able to hear incoming caller has not occured yet since I last mentioned.
