pap2 when dialing out i get no sound

can someone help. On my pap2 when I dial out, at times i can hear the ringing and it all works fine. Dial tone is always there, I have no problems recievingcalls, I have all the proper ports forwarded (5060, 5061). So like I said, I will pick up the phone, get dial tone, dial the number and everything works fine. Than at times I will do the same thing and hear nothing, no sound (but I do get the dial tone in the beginning). The other person on the other end does get the ring but I cannot hear them.

I have called tech support but they did not help...

I've got the same problem, but I've isolated the issue to be related to calling certain landline numbers. In my case problem does not affect cellullar numbers. Have you resolved this, if so, what 's the solution?

have you tried a different phone handset?
I know.. it's one of those questions most people will say "oh, that won't affect it, so I won't try it", but believe it or not, I see the phone itself affecting it more than most people would think! You only need to sit on a support line for a day to be surprised at how the little things that seem insignificant really do have a major impact sometimes!

I get this problem also much more in March 2010 ...

When calling a number its calling the number but i do not here anyone on other side so that means it like a dead call ... its been happening alot recently for me in Quebec ( 514 )

I have a GrandStream

I have used different phones and problems are still there ... ( everything worked perfectly before march 2010 )
