ht-701 not staying up on HSPA/3g (no public ip)
I am having problems Nat traversing HSPA/3G non public ip address. I have my ht701 set to use nat traversal (no s, and I can initially receive calls even though I have no public IP address so it seems the nat traversal is functioning, the thing is the system goes down after a random set amount of hours usually less than 8 hours at which point I can not receive and often cannot place calls untill I reboot the ht701 by removing the power. I am behind a buffalo hp54g router running ddwrt I suspect there is some timming problem and that the down time may be a result of an external IP change , I have tested both static and dhcp on the Lan side of the router both resulting the same.

Re: ht-701 not staying up on HSPA/3g (no public ip)
Is there something I am doing wrong on this forum, why is there rarely any responses to basic inquiries, I mean can fpl not assign a single individual to responding on the forum ?
anything at least something like "this problem is known and still unsolved" or "im not sure maybe you could try this" or maybe "ill look into it and get post back later" or "it would help if you provided further information"
honestly im not trying to be rude I simply cant understand whats going on with this forum

Despite what you might be lead to think, this isn't actually an official support forum. There are a few staff who look after the site, but it is not something that they get paid to do, nor is it part of their job.
Most of the support that is given on this forum is from other members. If someone can help you with your problem they will chime in. If, like me, they are not sure then they will let others try and help. Something we are just unable to help with, those have to be fixed on an account level.
With your problem it doesn't sound like a Fongo related problem as such which is probably why no staff member has commented. If no one else can offer support here, may I suggest posting your problem on a dedicated VOIP forum. VOIP can be quite finicky, but you should be able to find someone who can help you.
My, simple, opinion of your problem is that your ATA is loosing it's way because of your router. The router seems to forget where the ATA is, so when a call comes in it doesn't know where to send it. When you power cycle it, everything gets realigned. Maybe just making sure that your ports are forwarded will fix things, but unfortunately I am not really an expert on that sort of thing so I could be well off base.
