Ringer not working

I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2.0 7" tablet running 4.0.4 the ringer is not ringing. I get the notication of missed call and all other volumes are working. Can make a call no issues. If I look at the screen when a call comes in I see it and can answer it.

With the new patch that came out on the weekend still has not fixed this issue it is now at Version 2.0.3.21 of the product.

I have the same problem - the exact same samsung device. I have installed/uninstalled the app several times and downloaded the newest version 2.0.4.23. The app rings when the caller hangs up but not when actually calling. If I am using the tablet the fongo screen appears saying a call is in progress but no sound.

Same problem here Galaxy tab 2 7.0 GT-P3113, upgraded to JB 4.1.1, running version 2.0.4.23 and when I get calls it doesn't ring.

All volume settings are turned up.

Funny thing is, when the caller hangs up, right before the notify sound (for missed call notification) plays, I hear a half second of the ringtone. But only once they hang up.

Fongo please fix this!

I upgraded to 4.1.1 and now get the exact same as the previous poster. It rings briefly when caller hangs up just before the missed call notification.

Its now 5 months since this last post and I can see the problem hasnt been rectified because I have the same problem and its now Juin.
So what up with that?

What is your device, Fongo version, OS version, etc.

I just tested on same device and it's working for me with no issues,

Perhaps you can try the suggestion below:

1. uninstall Fongo app
2. reboot device
3. Download Fongo app
4. Install Fongo app

Let me know if it's working after performing these steps.

What happens if you change the default ringtone to a custom one? (anything- other than default)

Yes tried custom ringtones as-well it with the same result. Also checked the notifications settings etc , so far nothing is working for ringer.

Yes, whenever I select any ring tone, it rings for sample, other apps like Viber / skype / csipsimple working without any problem.

I donot use skype for calls to phones, but i have one sip phone on csipsimple if i call from that to fongo than the same result of no bell/ringer on fongo, while I can hear the ringback tone from csipsimple.
