was dell voice for blackberry dropped

I just paid $25 a short time ago to have my home number ported to my bb 9300, the file has been dropped at appworld. all was working fine till a few weeks ago now I'm having trouble and worried the support is gone for my phone

It's not on the DellVoice (now Fongo) website either.

It would be a bit naughty of them to drop it just like that after people have paid and set up stuff. It could be that they are just not accepting new clients until they can sort out the app - which I believe has a few problems.

Hopefully a Fongo staff member can comment about what is going on.

umm ya especially because when things were working fine I told a couple friends and they went ahead and did the same thing, my name is mud now and to make matters worse, I cancelled my home phone service, all I have now is the dell voice on my 9300, yikes!

Yes -- you are correct. Dell Voice is no longer available for download from BlackBerry App World.

We will continue to provide service to people who have Dell Voice on their BlackBerry.

It didn't work on the PB anyway, it was just for the phones. You can get Taki that works fairly well, in a simple way - but you need the SIP config for that.
