One of the admin options offered when you call your Fongo Home Phone account is "autoplay." It can either be enabled or disabled. What does it do?
Sorry if this is a noob question. Is there a Fongo Home Phone manual that lists all the various features?
What is autoplay?

Re: What is autoplay?
I didn't get any User manual with my Fongo Home Phone, but I think Grandstream HT701 ATA can help you with some of the commands:

Re: What is autoplay?
Thanks belo, interesting. But actually I think the "autoplay" option is on the fongo side, not the ATA side.
Here's what I've found by trial & error: "autoplay" seems to mean that any voicemail you have waiting plays automatically as soon as you phone in to check messages. Otherwise, if it's disabled, you are first greeted by menu options.
However if this is wrong I'd be happy to be corrected.
BTW, I've only been testing fongo home phone for a day but so far it seems fairly solid-- good sound quality, great features like forward voicemail to email, excellent pricing.

Re: What is autoplay?
Your testing is correct! Autoplay will skip the prompt asking you to play your messages and will start them right away.DougL wrote:Thanks belo, interesting. But actually I think the "autoplay" option is on the fongo side, not the ATA side.
