The google play store says the Fongo/ Dell Voice is compatible with Android 2.2, but my 2.2.2 phone says it can't install. It's an Alcatel One Touch 908s. What gives? Would love to use it.

Is it giving any kind of error when you try and download it? What kind of phone is it? who is the provider?

The phone again is an Alcatel One Touch 908s. It's with Wind Mobile. No error - it just doesn't show in the Google Market on the phone and then on the web it says it's not compatible with my phone and that's why it doesn't show up.

I had it on my phone over a year ago (2011 I think) and it worked fine - it was just after a software upgrade it said it's no longer compatible.

Hi, I've been lurking for a while so I thought I would start helping.

I believe the reason your not finding the Fongo on Google Play is the screen resolution. The Alcatel 908s from Wind is 240x320, I believe you need at least a 480x320 resolution.

Correct, as listed on the Fongo website, screen resolution of "Minimum supported screen resolution 320x480" is needed for the app. If your phone does not meet the minimum requirements the store will most likely not allow you to download it.
