FollowMe number won't add - already in use?

Post by SimonC »

I just registered for freephoneline and was inputting my cell phone number, the same one I used to register for the confirmation code, into the followme numbers. The system said "This number is already used as a FollowMe number by someone else", but I've never used that one before. I'm not sure if maybe I did something wrong, or someone else actually did register my cell on their account (for spamming?), but is there anything I can do to fix it? Thanks.

If you PM me your freephoneline number and cell phone, I can actually see who (if anyone) is actually using this number.

If you've had any other accounts, they may still be in there. Could you PM me your Freephoneline number as well as the one you are trying to add for FollowMe, and I'll look into it?

Thanks!
That FPL is now forwarded to that number!

ps. edited out your phone numbers in respect for your privacy. You'd be surprised at the number of people who will start calling on them after posting them here (sadly)

Ya, I thought about that after I posted but had to rush off to work. Figured I'd delete it when I got home.

Thanks, Steve,
It's working now.
