Porting = MUST purchase Config File??

From what I understand, if we choose to "port" over from another provider, do we MUST purchase the config file? Do we have an option not to purchase the config file, and just stick to the FPL software interface only?

If you've already purchased a config file for your Freephoneline number and wish to port in another carriers number, you do NOT need to purchase another config file. This is only if you want to keep your existing number.

What I mean is, are we able to port numbers without needing to purchase a config file??

Sorry - No you cannot, since when you port your phone number you must use a SIP device with it.
