My Fongo app stopped working without warning ...

My Fongo app stopped working without warning ...
... and I just received an e-mail from billing@fongo.com saying my account has been permanently closed.
What is going on?
After getting to like Fongo, I just ported the phone number I've had for years over to my Fongo account.
Now when I call that number, I get a recording that it's not in service.
I've had this number for years ... I rely on it ... and so do many others.
What's happening?!?!?

This is going to be an account thing that a staff member is going to have to look at. Unfortunately it's Friday afternoon and a staff member might not come by until Monday.
If you don't hear anything over the weekend, PM fongo_neil and ask for help for him. Link to this thread so he has a reference.

I've already PM'd Neil, but I don't think this is an account issue.
It looks like there are major issues ... if you go to status.fongo.com most Fongo services flagged as "potential issue".

Well I hope so Dave, but if you got a message from Billing, then your problems might run deeper than what is shown on the status page.
They have said that ported number will not be closed due to inactivity, so you should be safe there. I think they will also close an account if they think it is being used for fraudulent reasons, or they can't confirm the 911 details. Please understand, I am not saying that either of these applies to you, I am just saying what I have seen posted before.
One of the Staff members might see this over the weekend and help you, if it doesn't get fixed by itself.

Definitely not an inactivity issue ... I've been texting most of the morning, but am expecting a call from my wife, to pick her up from the train. This is going to get awkward.
I can't see it being a fraud, or 911, issue ... it's registered under my home address, and I successfully ported my TELUS Mobility number on Monday. Everything was fine until about noon.
I hope a Fongo staff member does see this, and can look into it, on the weekend ... there are far too many people for me to contact, to notify of a number change.
I did manage to re-register under the same e-mail address, but have lost my phone number, as well as my World Credits, Canada texting, and Visual voicemail services.
At least I have a number I can make calls with ... for now.

The plot thickens ... I've heard from support.
It appears that Fongo received, and processed, a port out request of the number that I had just ported into Fongo.
I think this is part of TELUS Mobility's enforced client loyalty program

Oh dear! At least someone is looking into things, sounds a bit of a mess though.
Hope you get it sorted out, and soon. I don't think it will be before your wife's train pulls in though.
