it looks G729 codec is not working any more, i changed to G711a and solved two of three FPL problem, currently only one FPL got problem without outbound call, still no sound even changed to G711.
i found some users got same issue before but in my case G729 has been working for past years until now. http://www.dslreports.com/forum/r225707 ... -way-audio

Same here: currently there is no sound for outgoing calls, but incoming calls is ok. Any idea when this will be resolved?+

I used the service with no issues for quite a while now (few good months) ...

EDIT: I cannot hear the other party even ringing ... the other party can hear me ... And I can receive calls no problem. It happened just today. I assume linked with the maintenance. Checked all settings

EDIT 2: I had to reprogram the router and re-open/re-map the ports 5060-6061 (UDP) and 10000 -20000 (UDP) and to re-enable the UPnP. ALL WORINGK AGAIN NOW. I have a Talkswitch PBX. The router is Tenda N60

i solved this issue for the third line by enabling constant NAT in my router. after changing this NAT setting in router, G729a is working now.
for those using PAP2 behind router, NAT issue might be troublesome. http://forums.anandtech.com/showthread.php?t=2151445

outgoing call issue

Post by compu.royale »

I also have been having outgoing issues with my phone for the past 4 days. I tried G711A and everything that's on the forum. I have a speedstream 5200 modem and I entered port forwarding with my ATA IP address 192.168.254.1, I also went into NT/NAPT configuration, if I enable NAT only then my outgoing calls work but I can't get online. If I enable NAPT only then outgoing calls don't work and going online works. There is a another section NAT& NAPT enabled, to enable it, I have to enter a Public WAN IP ADDRESS and a Public LAN IP ADDRESS in this section Current Public/Private IP Address Map (for concurrent NAT/NAPT) I don't know what to enter in the Public WAN IP Address. Every time I try an address it does not acept it. Can anyone help?
