Seems to have resolved itself. Dial tone was gone but now its back.

I recently had my phone ported.. (perhaps connected?).

I noticed that I had a message on my phone (supposed to send to email only). I looked at "change detail" page on my FPL account and found it had been partially reset. When I tried to amend it I had to enter a new number in the "other phone number" field because the number I had listed was the number that I had ported to FPL.

Yes most voicemail settings are reset after porting, since they will no longer point to your original Freephoneline number - As far as I know there was no outage this morning, but yes there could have been a small hiccup.
