Number of Rings Before Voice Mail

Hey guys, this has been broken since my Dell Voice account was conferted into a Fongo one a few weeks back but I am only posting now because I had hoped it would be fixed by now and I figuired I might be able to trick it into working by re-applying the same settings but that is not working....

Basically, I used to have it set to ring 4 times before going to voicemail. After the DV->Fongo conversion, I wanted to change it to 8. I set it to 8 and hit apply. I got a successfull message but 24 hours later when I tried it, it still only rang 4 times before going to voice mail. I checked my settings online and in the app, and it was 100% set to 8. Just to be sure, I selected 8 again and hit apply and got a "changes applied successfully" message. Tried again 24 hours later and same thing....It only rings 4 times before going to voice mail. I have no idea what else I can try but I think this is a bug in the software that a sysadmin/developer should look into. PM me for my Fongo number and you can see for yourself how many times it rings, versus what is specified in my settings...

I use the Fongo app on my iPhone 5 (currently on iOS 6.0.1). In my account I have set the number of rings before the call goes to voice mail to eight. If the app is on, either active or running in the background, the number of rings is correct. However, if the app is not launched, calls go to the voice mail after only four rings, instead of eight. This was not happening before and it is very annoying because, if a call is coming, it takes a long time to: input the password and unlock the phone, launch the app, wait until it registers, and answer the call. Certainly this process takes longer than four rings and the call is certain to be missed and go to the voice mail. I purposely set the number of rings to eight to have sufficient time to pick up the call but this is not happening.

It appears that there is a bug in the new app. As I said, this problem was not happening in the old Dell Voice app. Is there a way that this issue could be fixed? Thank you.

I have this EXACT same problem!! Very annoying....I hope they fix it soon, but I have a similar thread in this exact section from over a month ago and got no response...This is a software bug somewhere on Fongo's end...

For further investigation- please send me PM with the telephone number associated with the account. It will be great if you can send me the number from where you called your account. (mobile or landline)

Also, if you have a support ticket opened for this issue, please include that in your PM as well.

Hi, I am still experiencing this issue.

When my device is off, it will onlny ring 4 times and then go to voicemail. When the device is on and Fongo is running in the background, it will correctly ring 8 times before going to voicemail. I am very confused as to what is going on because I have it set to ring 8 times before going to voicemail BOTH in the in-app settings and on Fongo.com control panel....
