The issue you are having is caused by RTP audio being blocked by your router.boyvnca wrote:I am using wifi.
This can be resolved by forwarding ports into your router.
If you search the forums, there are threads that are helping.

Re: No audio when make outgoing call to landline number
I'm having the same problem with one of my freephoneline accounts but if I use the other account that I paid for the config and porting it works just fine. The problem is only with the free line and not the other line that I have paid for the configuration. Note: all settings are the exactly same and using the same computer.

I have to disagree with you as like I just posted I'm using the exact same settings and it will only work for my account that I have paid for the configuration and not for the other that I did not pay for? It is something to do with the free accounts.

Thanks,
I do not think RTP port forward problem. Because I was able to make a call out with Fongo IPhone app on the same WIFI network. It does not work for my FPL sip account. Is it Fongo app use different port then FPL?

Calls Connect but No Sound Either Way!!!
I've just installed the freephoneline app.. I can call out and can receive calls, but I cannot get any sound either way.. I'm wanting to add an Cisco SPA112 but until I can get the computer version working I will hold off. I have no firewall running? Running win 7 64 bit.. Using a Buffalo WZR-HP-G300NH Router and for what it's worth I can make calls on Google Voice with no issues.... Am I missing something?? Any help would be appreciated..

Same here.......no problem with my "ports"either.
The change over and new "download" do not work.
Time to look for a new product.////

Too bad... I really wanted to go this way.. but from reading the forum and ALL the problems everyone are having I've decided to take your advice and go another way.. Ooma system was on sale at Bestbuy, up and running in 15 minutes... will re-coop my initial cost in 2 months, small monthly fee is good for me...

Re: No audio when make outgoing call to landline number
I have PMed Fongo Support about my one way audio for outgoing calls and they forced my registration and everything is working fine with outgoing calls once again on my free account.

Re: No audio when make outgoing call to landline number
Usually audio outbound or inbound are related to ports blocked, however if more then 20 people from different cities, provinces reporting the related issue on the same day then it's obviously a deeper issue. At that point we can escalate the problem ticket to the Engineers of Fongo for them to investigate further.
As Fongo_Support suggested have a look here for more help http://forum.fongo.com/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=7926
