In the latest version of the Fongo App on Android the permissions have changed. I now need to allow Approximate Location (network-based) and Precise Location (GPS and Network-based.)
There is no description anywhere that says why these permissions are needed or what they are used for. I can't seem to spot any new functionality that would require these permissions.
There is now a pop-up in the app that requires me to upgrade to this latest version if I want to keep using it.
Can anyone tell me what these Location permissions are being used for?

Please note that new features will be added in the next version of the app. The current upgrade incorporated part of these changes, and it ensures that everyone is on the same version.
The new features will allow users to call local businesses much easier, using GPS location. The new version released yesterday is addressing critical fixes related to call quality.
I hope this helps, if there are any other questions, please let us know.
Thanks,
