FreePhoneLine Doesn't work on XP Pro 64-bit?

I installed the software on my windows xp pro (64-bit) virtual machine, but the application does not launch. If the app is not compatible with XP Pro 64-bit, I could try installing the 32-bit version, but is there anything i can do before taking such drastic measures.

Unfortunately there's no XP X64 support. Since the OS was dropped by Microsoft pretty quick, most software companies will not support it either.

hmm, i just tried it on windows xp pro 32 bit. still doesn't work, the same thing happens. I install, after install it simply doesn't launch.

Are you using a "tiny" version of windows?

If by tiny you mean barebones than i'm not sure. But I just tried to install it again on windows vista ultimate (64-bit). same problem. this is really getting annoying. perhaps it's the fact that I'm running windows in a virtual machine and not natively off the harddrive. if that's the case i will happily dedicate a partition to it.

I will try it on virtual machine and let you know if it works.
It didn't work for me on tiny XP (XP modified by Nlite with some features removed). It would install but not launch. It would still run like a process in the background. However older versions used to work. I've never bothered to figure out why.
