HI, All
I bought SIP setting already, and currently set it up (port forwarding, ..., etc) as my main home phone, now I just installed CSipSimple app on my Samsung note 2, Is it possible/Ok that I'm using the same config to setup CSipSimple on my cell phone, What if somebody call my FPL number, will both my home phone and cell phone ring at same time? also, if I'm out of town, when someone calls me, will my cell phone rings if using WiFi/Data?
Thanks,
William

Re: FPL on Android
you can install it on your phone as well, but you should only register one device at a time. The system does not allow for multiple registered devices and you won't know which device will ring, if any, if you connect more than one. They will keep stealing the registration from each other.
You should be able to use the sip phone on your cell, but it will use your data plan - so be aware of that. I think the app uses about 0.5mb per minute when on a call, but you may find a sip phone will use up to 1mb per minute.

Well I believe it uses the higher bandwidth, so the call should be clearer. I don't think I noticed much difference when I tested it before.
For me the call quality of the app is perfectly fine, so for the added advantage of being able to text as well I use the app on my phones.
