Not working March 27

Not working March 27

Have not used freephoneline in a bit. Tried it an hr ago, not working....still does not work.
No outgoing calls. Worked fine before... in fact I got a message last night so I assume it was working.

Updated to the newest desktop version. Still no outgoing.

Anyone else with problems today??

Hi there,

Have you tried fwd'ing the ports into your Airport extreme ?

Did the port forward and does not work still.
Any suggestions?

Rebooted everything and does not work.

In my account, it shows I was making the test calls, but no connection to the number.
Changed the ports ( as in your link).

Nothing has changed on my end.
It was not working with the old desktop app before I updated to the recent one today.
(it used to work just fine)
Did a test call to my freephoneline # ...it rang, but no sound...

The Fongo app for my iphone works...why not for the desktop. I need the desktop app to work... Help!

Update:

Thought I found the problem.
Went to Pref - Settings - Other and clicked DTMF type and changed to "Info(SIP)"

Made a call...it worked. Then tried another ( and many more) did not work.

I give up. Why would it work one time, then stop????

Yes, u can change the hosts file in OSX too. Edit Hosts file in OSX: http://decoding.wordpress.com/2009/04/0 ... x-leopard/
