Hi -
I have been having a lot of difficulty isolating the issue with a second FPL number to work on my ATA. I currently have a FPL number, area code 514, with unlock key that works fine. I had some problems early on, but isolated a nagging issue. So now this has been working without any problem for a while now.
The problem is my brother's number. He got a 438-number and an unlock key but it does not work (when a non-FPL number is dialed, no ringing, and when the call is picked up, he does not hear the called party, yet the called party hears him). He has the exact same ATA as mine (bought it from the same place). He input copies of my settings (no luck), used my ATA settings backup and filled in the right places (no luck) and lastly, I just plugged his credentials into my ATA and that fails too in the same manner. I also tried a SIP softphone to see what the network messages looked like and I can see the call progress, but the behavior is as indicated above. I am mystified. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
MF

Please send me a PM with the telephone number associated with the account and I will have a look. Also, if you have received a support ticket from the FPL support team, please include that in your PM as well.
Thanks,

Hello, I have the IDENTICAL problem. The unlock code that works great on my Linksys PAP2-NA is 1xxxxxxxxx and the one that has the SAME issuse as the one described above is 1xxxxxxxxx. I have no ticket number from Fongo Support on this issue. Please let me know what the issue could be.
