OBI202 can talk can't hear problem

OBI202 can talk can't hear problem

I have a strange problem with a new OBI202 and freephoneline. If I call the number from outside everything works, it rings I can talk, I can hear.

However if I call from the phone connected, the other side rings can hear me but I can not hear anything. I tried this with different phone numbers, same result.

On my router I have the ports recommended opened (Virtual servers), and I even tried to set DMZ for the OBI IP but there is no change. As the connection works perfectly when I call from outside I suppose that the ports are ok. Any other suggestions ?

Hi there,

Probably your OBI is missconfigured.

In order to resolve this, the unit will need to be reset to factory defaults and reconfigured.

To reset the unit to factory defaults:

Please ensure that URI field is NOT populated.

Once that is completed, you can start making/receiving calls.

Thanks, it works. I had to open other ports in my router, specified in my OBI manual. The ports specified by freephoneline are for the PC software.
