cibc 18882988822 blocked freephoneline users?

Post by maidong »

hi,

I call from my 778******* freephoneline number to cibc chinese customer support 18882988822, and got dead voice, however I can call RBC chinese customer support 18887692598 and cibc english customer support 18007692511 successfully.

Also, I can call 18882988822 from an italkbb 778******* number.

So I just wonder if some 1888******* number blocked freephoneline users?

Hi there,

That number is not blocked, I just called it from a FPL line and I heard someone speaking in Chinese.

So what happened? Why I can call some 888*** numbers, but can't call other 888*** numbers.
I checked my call logs, it recorded my all 888*** numbers as normal calling. So why the dead voice occurred may be because I can't receive inbound voice, but the opposite indeed receive my call.

It's weird!

Hi there,

What is the model of the ATA? Perhaps there's one setting on the ATA that needs to be adjusted.

Please let me know.

Thanks,

Hi there,

Please check your configuration against the below. Document is for PAP2T, however settings are identical with Spa3102.

The configuration changed according to the file, but problem still there.
Oh, my ata is atached to my laptop's wired network adapter, which and my laptop's wireless adapter are network bridged in Windows 7. The virtual bridge is connecting wirelessly to Telus modem Actiontec V1000H. So my ATA's wan IP is a static IP using one from the LAN address range of V1000H.

Maybe such method of connection has problems, I think.

Thanks!

I think I solved the problem.
I opened UDP port 5060-6061 and 10000-20000 for my ATA in V1000H, and I can call all 800 or 866 or 800 numbers.

That's fine!

Thanks a lot!
