Everything was working fine.
Whenever I unhooked the phone, I would get a solid dial tone then dial out.
Lately I get multiple beeps then a solid dial tone.
I've checked the voicemail. There were two messages, I cleared them via the web interface, and still the beeps.
I'm using the linksys pap2 ata.
Is there something that I'm billing?

It might take a while for it to clear, it's not instant by any means. Give it an hour or so answer if it is cleared of not.

Re: Multiple Beeps before dial tone
So the multiple beeps is the voice mail as I suspect?
If takes an hour for the vm to clear, then I'll either forwrd the VM to email only, or use the inbuilt VM on my home phone. The beeping is too annoying.
Does it really take an hour?
I'll try unplugging the unit too and doing a soft reboot.

Re: Multiple Beeps before dial tone
Yes sorry, I should have mentioned that. The short beeps are an indication of a voicemail waiting.
They say it should clear within 15 minutes. I believe what happens is the system does a run every 15 minutes and either sets or clears the MWI for all the accounts. So if your message was left 1 minute before the run then it would come on within a minute. I'm not sure power cycling the ATA will help, but it won't hurt
