I'm trying to set up an account and I'm having one-way audio issues with Freephoneline only to regular numbers PSTN Landlines and mobile - other fongo/fpl # work fine.
Quick information:
I have 3 accounts two older working perfectly freephoneline (FPL) accounts and one brand new one. One for my parents, myself and a new one (this one) for my gf. I know for the older two everything works on both desktop accounts and any sip device (everything is updated as of today). However, this new one has issues connecting to regular phone numbers (major problem as this is what the service is supposed to do and why I paid another $50 for sip information) although on the FPL webpage it says it's connected/registered and on the ATA device or Desktop app (doesn't matter what).
Problem: on the new account (-XX20): Dials without a dial tone, however, it really does dial. If the regular phone number picks up, they can hear the fongo (fpl) user but the fongo user cannot hear the landline nor do they know if the other party hangs up or not.
Infrastructure is proven to work and this problem is repeated at different locations with the same result.
Email is the same as this forum account. I've had a previous number associated with FPL ending -9225 and I have a fongo account on this email too which might be the reason for issues(? - maybe maybe not).
----
I am positive it's not an issue on my end with settings, router, firewall, configuration or anything I can change because the account for my parents and my self work perfectly fine with both the desktop and ATA devices, however, using the exact same device and settings with the new account causes the exact same problem all the time.
Method 1:
1) Install Freephoneline desktop application.
2) Log into freephoneline account using known working account
3) dial a PSTN landline/mobile or fongo number
4) hear and enjoy conversation as normal
Repeat with the new number (ending) -20
4) hear nothing when dialed a PSTN landline/mobile number or have a normal conversation with other fongo users. Unknown if other voip will work or not as it's untested.
... In this example the firewall and other settings are proven to allow fongo services to work as the application and the entire network is unchanged between the two.
Method 2:
1) setup ATA device to FPL/fongo specs.
2) Configure SIP information with known working account
3) Dial PSTN Landline/mobile or fongo number
4) Enjoy conversation as normal
Changing user to (account ending) -20 and password causes the same issues as before. Changing back to another account and it works perfectly fine again.
In all scenarios calls to regular numbers fail to provide a dial tone and if the other party does connect it's only a one way audio to the landline/mobile. Calls to other fongo numbers work fine. Yet the other accounts for myself and my parents work fine in any and all scenerios.
UPnP is on, NAT PMP is on, ports are forwarded, DMZ was attempted, desktop app settings were refreshed computer restarted, I've tried and exhausted all various combinations of settings and need further assistance and email is telling me they can't help me and is providing just a canned message

--- EDIT ---
In contact with tech support via email hopefully it gets figured out.

--- EDIT 2 ---
Well they told me that the account was fine and it's a configuration problem. However, the configs work for two other accounts and not this one. So what the heck. It says it's registered FPL website sees it when using ATA device. Calls are sent and received perfectly to other fongo numbers but when I try to call a landline/mobile PSTN number it's just one way audio. When using the desktop app it's outbound only. My other two accounts have no issues though, and no I'm not using multiple accounts at once I'm doing one at a time testing here.
