
Outgoing audio quality?

Outgoing audio quality?
Hi, I always have had outgoing audio qualiy problem since day 1. The other end hears my voice is broken quite often during the conversation . My ATA is linksys PAP2T-NA. Anybody can help me with this issue?

can you please ensure that your ATA is setup exactly as per below?

Hi, I did follow that settings as suggested. The problem is the same. I also checked my upload speed, and i showed around 0.3 Mbps. Could it be the reason?

Please try to power of equipment- modem, router and ata for at least 15-20 minutes and connect again after 20 minutes starting with the modem.
Try testing the line(s) after this- should be ok.

Hi,
My problem still exists. It look like linking with the the upload speed of internet. I ran the "shaw speed test" at different times a day. Obviously the slower the upload speed, the worse the audio. with G711U setting, what is the minimun of upload speed required?
Oh, my internet provider is Shaw- High speed 20 with max. upload speed 512kbps

I have the same issue, and my upload speed is consistently 2 Mbps. My ATA is Cisco SPA2102 and the settings are exactly as provided. The issue only started in the beginning of this month; for the 2 years before that voice quality was great. What do you think the problem could be?

Please try to power of equipment- modem, router and ata for at least 15-20 minutes and connect again after 20 minutes starting with the modem.
Try testing the line(s) after this- should be ok. If it's still an issue, you may want to check your router settings and disable sip alg if enabled.

Thanks! I haven't experienced any serious problems in the past couple of days since performing that reset. I hope this lasts!
