Hi I'm using SPA112. I ported my number, received the confirmation email on Tuesday that it is complete and to call Rogers to cancel. I reconfigured my SPA username to my new ported number. When I pick up the phone, I get a dial tone. When I dial out I get an automated message "That Password is Not Valid".
I paid for the VOIP unlock key, had it working with the number FPL gave me. Now all of a sudden it's not working.
I need my number back asap. Any help?

I did a manual reset on my adapter and entered all the settings again. In the ATA password I entered the password which was issued to me when I paid for the voip unlock key.
Still no luck.

When you changed your phone number, did you include the initial 1 (one) ?March14 wrote:I did a manual reset on my adapter and entered all the settings again. In the ATA password I entered the password which was issued to me when I paid for the voip unlock key.

Re: Ported number now "That Password is Not Valid"
Yes I put 1(one) in front of my ported number in the "UserId" field.
I've restarted my computer, used Firefox instead of internet explorer, deleted all history, password, temporary int files, etc.
One thing I do notice is the "Password" field fills 13 asteriks (*) but the VOIP password issued to me is only 8 characters. But again, I did not touch the password field after the number was ported so this should not have impacted the problem.

I just send you a PM. Please reset unit to factory defaults and reconfigure it and let me know.
Thanks,
