Getting a new phone number

ISP Name: Cogeco
Computer OS: Windows 7
Router: Netgear WNDR3400v2

Getting a new phone number

It looks like I will be moving to another city in a few months. How do I go about getting a new local number for Home Phone? I've searched but cannot find anything for other than the mobile app which says I need to create a new account. Is this the same as Home Phone?
Any help would be appreciated.
