Hi, I am a non techie so I need a simple answer if possible.
I make a call and I can hear them perfectly but they complain of bad sound and they can hear themselves like an echo, eventually the call just stops and I cant hear them anymore. This happened all three times.
I just have desktop free phoneline. I am on wifi with a shaw account if that helps.
Thanks
They hear echo and call dropped.

Re: They hear echo and call dropped.
By the way, I went to setting and did a test
Status: Done
Results: Call Service is OK
Data Transfer: Unable to send/receive sound data! Port 13000 should be available
Possible Reason None
I have no idea what this means. I went to settings and under "other" it the Audio port as 13000 and no other options.
Forgot to mention I have sent in a support ticket but no answer yet.

Re: They hear echo and call dropped.
OK just got en email from Fongo
"We do not provide customer support for Freephoneline Desktop.
Please check and update your third party ATA adapter settings with the official recommended configurations here http://forum.fongo.com/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=7962 . If you do not follow the official recommended configurations, you may experience call issues."
That sucks. I need to use this phone tonight and I can't get it to work. I don't even know what a third part ATA adapter is.
The link takes me to a whole bunch of info called VoIP Unlock Key Credentials
I have no idea where to put this info.
Can someone help?
