To access your voicemail from your phone you can either dial *98, or call your FPL number (so you call yourself from your phone) and you should get the voicemail system.

If I understand correctly, when I'm at work in my own city, I must make a long distance to access my voicemail, because there is no local number in my city (as in most cities).

What area code are you calling from?

As a work around (although probably not ideal) you could install the fongo app on a mobile, then all of those access numbers will be free to call.

In Québec, you must be in Montreal or Quebec City to have an access number.
Fortunately, wherever I have an internet connection I can get my message via email.
