When I first signed up with FreePhoneline.ca I was given a phone number and I downloaded and installed the desktop app.
I then decided to have my home phone # ported to FreePhoneline.ca
So it appears the ported # has replaced my original # from when I first signed up.
But, my original # from when I first signed up is still showing in the desktop app. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall the app but the old number is staying with the app. How can I get my newly ported # to show in the app?
I also have a ATA (linksys PAP2T) that is working with my ported #.... but would also like to be able to use the desktop app.

Can you uninstall it and after that try to search on your PC and remove and files/folders that contain previous settings from the desktop app.
Re boot PC and re download and install again.
Please let me know.
Thanks,

Re: Desktop App and ported #
That did the trick, there must have been a config file left when I first uninstalled the app. Erased everything, rebooted, re-downloaded the app and it asked me to enter my freephoneline login info when it first started.
thanks.
thanks.
