Why charged by 16043102255

I made a call to 16043102255, why I've been charged by the number?

That is a Telus special 7 digit number, and it's not covered as a free call by Fongo/FPL
No 310 numbers are.

It's not as obvious as you think it is. A lot of people post about not being able to cal 310 numbers. Because of the way the voip works the system won't really know if you are calling from Ottawa, Vancouver or somewhere in Africa - so there is no way they could route you to the local 310 numbers that you would hope for.

Maybe they could set it up so it always calls the local 310 number to your account phone number - but they don't who knows, they might implement something better in the future, or just play a message saying 310 numbers are not supported.

I think if you not buy MINUTES by using your CREDIT CARD, then when you try to dial 16043102255, then your call will not goes by saying message like this "YOU DID NOT BUY MINUTES TO CALL THIS NUMBER etc" so you can't call this Number.

With out buying MINUTES on your Card, you can not Dial INTERNATIONAL & PAID LONG DISTANCE Calls.

As I know you bought UNLOCK KEY by using your CARD, so they will not Charge on your CARD for LONG DISTANCE or INTERNATIONAL Minutes, untill you BUY seperatelly your MINUTES.

I am not sure about this, but some Exports will Answer in more detail., which will help more other members, those who are having doubts like this.
