I writing here hoping that someone from freephoneline wakes up and smell the coffe.
The Support is TERRIBLE
I have experience with SIP in general ( PBX , OpenSip ect )
Before porting my number i have set up a free number provided by freephone line - it worked Good ( Wellteh ATA2 plus ( This ATA works will all Sip providers Period)
I ported my number yesterday and it worked for 2 hrs max. after that it has been a nightmare - One way audio - and now the ATA doesn't register at all. The Problem is not the ATA ( i have other sips accounts and they work perfect )
My ATA is connected to the Router with a 6 Inc Patch cable and the router to the modem with another 6 Inc Patch cable .
I have connected the ATA directly to the Modem - Same issue .
I Configured all Possible SIP ports in the Juniper Firewall to the point where the ATA is almost in a DMZ Zone. - Same issue . No registers
I dont think my ISP is blocking the ports since like a mentioned - i have other sips accounts and they work perfect
The Documentation said that if you have many Sip accounts in the House it can cause a problem - I entirely disagree with that - That is why we have PAT ( Port Address translation ) AKA as NAT - My Firewall does state full filtering - So anything that goes out is automatically allowed in
The Fact that it was working for almost a month until i ported my number -
I have Sent to email to Freephone support and i haven't heard from anybody

Re: No Service
This has been posted before and people have fixed it by powering down the ata for 20 minutes or so then powering it back up again. It has something to do with the account being stuck in a bad registration (although I am not entirely sure what that means). I believe they can clear the registration there end which does a similar thing. While you are waiting for them to reply try switching the ata off for a while.
