I had been using my Bell home phone for almost 10 years, late last year I paid the money and ported this phone number from Bell to Freephoneline. But recently I missed many of my friend phone calls as it reached to another family(many of my friends thought I changed the phone#), although I still use this phone number to dial and pick up some calls.
My wife called home yesterday and the call reached that owner couples of times. After discussed with that owner, he mentioned that this phone number (exact same number as my current phone#) was assigned to him by Rogers.
What is wrong with Freephoneline phone number? How is it possible the same number could be assigned to different people? I thought after I ported my phone# from Bell to Freephoneline successfully, this number is supposed to be registered in the phone book somewhere to show it has being used. Can someone from Freephoneline help to solve this issue?
Thanks,
LNG
