Fongo tells me to buy the SIP config again....?

BUYER BEWARE - DO NOT CANCEL YOUR DSL SERVICE WITH FONGO IF YOU STILL WANT THE HOME PHONE (SIP CONFIG FILE)...

In 2011 we signed up with freephoneline, a bundle that included all the start up costs including the modem, 2 month's of service, tel number porting and most important the SIP configuration file. Since we had a number of problems with the bell line coming to the house and bell refusing to fix it we had no choice but to switch ISP to a cable resell ISP. I am now being told that since we cancelled the DSL service the home phone/internet bundle was cancelled including access to the SIP config file. Fongo staff are now telling me I have to purchase the config file again. My question is, if the whole bundle was cancelled as a result when we cancelled the DSL service why is my home phone still working? I simply want access to the SIP config section on their website to verify that we are still connected and worse case I would like access to this information should I have to replace our sip device. I think it's wrong to have to pay for something that was already paid for. So much for the one time fee for the config file.
