For the last two weeks I have been tearing the little hair left on me trying to get this ATA adapter working.
I now have it figured out. I don't think it is the ATA adaper but the setting for the account at FPL.
I purchased the settings ( let us call this acct B) and got another PAP2T_NA ( call this ATA-B) . I have one already working on my network ( account A with ATA - A). It has been working perfectly.
I configure ATA-B with Acct B and it seemed to work as I tested it calling on my account A on ATA-A. Then I call my relative and I hear Blank. So I use account A on ATA-A to call acct B on ATA-B. Works.
So I disconnect ATA-A and and call my cell phone using acct B and ATA-B. Blank again on the phone but my cell rings.
I then run over line by line screen by screen and compare the configurations between ATA_A and ATA-B. Exact, except for the acct and password.
Then I decide to switch accts and ATA. So now ATA-A uses Acct B and ATA-B uses Acct A.
Well, the result is this ATA-B works perfectly with Acct A. And now ATA-A when Acct B is set up on it, has the IDENTICAL problem. It is blank when calling a cell phone, or land line OUTSIDE FONGO. Inside Fongo like FPL and Fongo on smartphone, the call works perfectly.
I have tried to ask for help from FPL and Fongo twice and it appears they think it is my network problem I get no response. But as you can tell by my experiments and numerous tries of differencr codecs etc. Nothing fixes it.
When switching accts, the IP and network position of the devices did not change. I just reasssigned the username and password and the problem follows the account.
Can someone from Fongo or FPL take this request seriously? It is not my hardware and configuration.

I eventually got support to look at this for me.
Apparently my acct was re-registered and the problem has cleared up.
I will now consider porting after confirming that the system is reliable.
