FPL worked perfectly for years until the past few weeks. I have not knowingly changed anything on my end. PAP2T-NA.
But now incoming callers just get a fast busy signal even though my line is not busy.
Don't know how many calls I've missed because people just get a busy signal, or how long the issue has been going on, because I just haven't been getting the calls. Only found out because a relative commented in an email.
Please help.
Thanks.

Re: Incoming callers receiving busy signal
Followed instructions at the link you posted and the issue is now resolved. Thank you.

One other question though... I posted here thinking Fongo homephone and Freephoneline are the same thing. Are they?
The service I'm using is the one where I paid $50 for a file and then have a free home phone using my own PAP2T and telephone. Is this FPL or Fongo Home Phone that I'm using, and have I just configured my ATA incorrectly? Just noticed there are separate sub forums for each but I don't understand which of the two applies to me.
Thanks.

You belong to Freephoneline. yes it is a different product.
Not sure why you posted in the Fongo home phone section.
Glad you got this working again, though.
Thanks,

They are the same underneath, but wear different dresses.
The main difference is that Fongo is more for 'plug and play' type of people and they get support if they need it. FPL, as you know, is where you have to roll up your sleeves a bit and do the work yourself.
With Fongo you pay for the ATA and then $5 per month, where as with FPL you sort your own SIP device out and just pay a one time fee of $50.
Fongo also offers a mobile APP for your phone, but this can't be used in conjunction with the Home Phone service.
So as I said, they are the same, but different
