Post by flob3d »

My freephoneline started to malfunction, it worked well 3 years but now I'm disappointed. :? First I changed 2 pap-sys until now I thought it was defective but it is a freephoneline problem. Freephoneline support line is NON –EXISTENT! Today I tried to call in Salaberry 1km colse by Montreal but the robot told me is….LONG DISTANCE !!! lol , GODDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD. I will sell my account and I will try with Videotron 11$ / month.

Well there is always going to be a cut off point between local and long distance. It is usually worked out by exchanges not by their actual placement on a map. It could very well be that the houses one street over to you are on a different exchange, and so could be long distance.

If you would like to get hold of support, you have to put in a support ticket (see sig). There is still support, but you can't just phone them up like you used to be able to. I'm not a fan of that move one bit, but that's how they decided to do it.

Hi there,

Re-> Freephoneline support line is NON –EXISTENT!

Can you please send me a PM with your ticket# and I will have a look.

On a side note, you can always check if the city you wish to call is in our Free calling cities:
