Problem registerin SNOM 320

Post by BTessier »

I am trying to register a SNOM 320 VoIP phone and registration is not staying up. I am using the ATA setting that I purchased from FreePhoneLine, configuring the phone using cut and paste from FreePhoneLine to the web configuration of the VoIP phone to avoid any possible typing mistake.

It looks like the phone will sometime register, so the setting are probably Ok but it doenst stay up long. Looking at the SIP trace from the phone, I am getting "SIP/2.0 401 Unauthorized".

I was able to place one call with good 2 way voice, but again it doesnt stay up. I am using the same phone with multiple lines and the others are ok. My FreePhoneLine account does work with a 3CX softphone.

What could be the issue?

Hi there,

Please send me a PM with your account details and I will have a look.

I believe that your device (SNOM) is not setup as per FPL guidelines:

The issue might be there

Thanks,
