I am using the freephoneline desktop application V3.2.7 which works flawlessly for me on all calls except when I call a 1-800 or 866 number. For some unknown reasons, when an automated system replies, the incoming audio gets cut-off for the first 5 to 7 seconds and then everything works fine until I have to press the keypad to select a menu option. Once I talk to a human or I stop having to make menu selection by typing a number on the keypad, the communication is perfect again.
It is not a serious issue but it is slightly annoying as I have to rehear all menu options because I always miss the first 2 choices. I have called the same 1-800 using another voip provider without encountering this issue. This issue occurs with ALL 1-800 (866) numbers connected to an automated answering system.
Again, not a big deal but I think you should be informed. I must also let you know that few months ago, I helped debug the one way audio issues and I was provided the V3.2.7 version before it became available to all. Maybe I was supplied with a beta version although the about screen does not indicate so.
Thanks
