iOS App - Crashes When Checking Voicemail

When I go to check my voicemail, it displays the list of messages... but when i go to play one of them, the app crashes and bring me back to my home screen.

I've deleted the app and reinstalled it (losing my call and text history at the same time), but the problem remains the same.

Hardware: iPhone 5 16GB
OS: 7.0.2

Is this a known issue/bug? Is there a KB (knowledge base) I can refer to for this?

"A bug in Fongo for iOS causes the app to crash when listening to VMs, we've submitted an update to the App Store to fix. In the meantime, dial *98 from the dialpad to listen to your VMs. - 2013-10-21 10:30"
